Kam Lun Tai Mooncake 2020
Established since 1971 in Jalan Sultan, the name ‘Kam Lun Tai’ was used by Malaysia’s first Finance Minister Tun H.S.Lee when he was trading in China. ‘Kam Lun Tai’ name is now a golden brand known internationally.
Starting from a small traditional family business, KLT began to grow in size, diversifying its business in the Food & Beverage industry together with Food Processing Business in its factory producing mooncakes, omochi, egg rolls, cookies, pastries and sauces.
The making of mooncake has come a long way, from being hand-made in the past, KLT was the first in Malaysia to use fully automated new technology processes. At the same time adheres to the philosophy of high quality and hygiene standards demanded by modern day customers. Its worldwide sales network has also made KLT Mooncakes well known internationally. Apart from supplying to the local market, KLT products has also ventured outside Malaysia, including United States, Australia, Myanmar, Singapore, Indonesia and so on.
Being very particular about the quality of excellence; food safety and quality, KLT has achieved a number of certifications over the years, including: in 2000 “HALAL” (for Muslim food certification), 2011 Malaysia’s first Australia and New Zealand also achieved the ISO 9001: 2000 international quality management certification and HACCP food safety management system certification, in 2003’s first elected as a moon cake production industry Super Brand (SUPERBRAND) Award.
